Well, I typically dont review products negatively. I dont like reviewing products if I pay for them because what do you want me to say? I paid for this thing to do what I needed and it did what it promised for money? OK well this product didnt work for me fo free or paid. Everything I get is a failed backup, failed migration, failed upload to the cloud. I am trying to us this instead of free migration services from an awesome host. I’ll be refunding.

Many people have had the same response, and it bears repeating. Why have a free version if you can’t use it? You can install it but you can’t see whether it correctly returns entries? Silly. I already saw that Formidable employees try to move the conversation to their site whenever you comment. Once you get to the site, they tell it’s very hard to view entries. Formidable wasn’t designed for that. Frustrating free version that shouldn’t be offered at all without proper documentation. I would have even been willing to buy it instead of Gravity, if it worked. You don’t have to give away all your bells and whistles, but it should work. This FREE version is a waste of time. Don’t bother.

THE FREE ROMANCE: You start with a free plugin. What is there not to like about FREE, like? THE LOW END COMMITMENT: Well, as planned, you soon start considering buying it. I did, spent over $100, so that I could deliver the iterative block to one of my clients.Essentially, you can repeat on a block of the form while others remain as a single thread. My case: data about many children, associated to only one parent block. At this point, the client is excited, and you have invested a LOT of time on the forms. Why a LOT? * The alignment and columnar layout is fragile, things go bonkers and there is no safe way to debug it, except developing a lot of the same stuff over and over * The documentation is ALL OVER THE MAP, and the docs search is really bad * Some options, like the bootstrap module, destroyed all my site’s CSS… three days of development after the last back up. You know what that means. :(. Here is where the ‘take-it-or-leave-it” modality of their support starts to show up: “Oh, well, you can just TURN OFF all the CSS for Formidable!” ??? My theme’s CSS is not designed to show forms, that was supposed to be YOUR job! But you limp around, your client loves that the forms are pretty and neat… THE “PRO” FISH HOOK Let’s face it, the “BUSINESS” version of the Pro is what the core plugin should do. Unless you want to collect forms that can only be viewed online, and with a lot of limitations (tables with entries get large as you add columns, and go try to add lateral layout to a fixed-layout plugin (or any theme layout for that matter). “Oh, you wanted to export the data? Then you need to spend ANOTHER $200 and get the next upgrade.” Further, any large enough form requires you to view it in Google table format, which is why having that as an option sounded SO attractive. So I did, spent the $200. My client was now fully committed to the solution. Started building export pages… and that’s where reality kicked in… YOU FEEL A SUDDEN SHOCK, AND YOU LAND OUT OF THE WATER It turns out that neither Google table format, OR export of VIEWS works with iterative blocks!!! The process of getting to understand this showed me that the company’s support is sub-standard. Prompt responses but containing only patronizing, obvious answers (“Yes, of course I tried that already… duh” Until Support finally acknowledges that nothing works with the “repeating blocks”, and states very matter-of-factly that “There is no ETA for a solution”. In other words, sorry, we won’t fix it. Tough luck. So, the more you commit to this sub-standard plugin, the more you will pay… THE PRICE YOU END UP PAYING: * You probably will lose a client, who will now hate your company for all the pain you have taken them through (“Hey, it looks really nice, it must be that the developers are incapable”) * You WILL need to re-develop the forms in some other package. I still haven’t even looked into it, because the client is going through the peak of their form activity this month * You will need to manually provide the data to your client, because now they really need it.. and EXPORT doesn’t work * You will (hopefully) get a credit, but you end up buy-in it again! Why? Well, because Formidable turns out your license a few hours after the credit went through… and you still have all the forms still active in your client’s site, generating more and more data while they wait to be replaced. I ended up spending over five solid weeks in the forms and all their collateral pages, exports, views, etc. I will never recover that, because I need to start from zero soon… and on top I will never get the second payment of $200 back.

It does what it claims. The chart renders well inside a viewport, however you will need to adjust some of the margins inside the plugin. Figuring out which ones to adjust and by how much is iterative, but it does not take too long. You also need to preformat the data so that the plugin understands what it is being given. This also does not take long. Overall a solid plugin that does what it says.

I changed from RJ Quickcharts to the Visualizer plugin, because RJ Quickcharts was not longer maintained. There are some advantages and some disadvantages of both, but the main advantage of Visualizer is, that it is available for actual WordPress and PHP versions.

I wanted something simple that would place a watermark in the lower right of all the images used on my site so people would know where it came from. One criteria I had was that the plugin must scale the watermark so it always appears the same relative size, irrespective of the size of the image it was overlaying. Image Watermark does it perfectly and was easy to use and setup. Perfect ????

It watermarks the images I choose individually just as i’d like it with a text overlay. I haven’t tried the option to prevent right click but that’s just butter on the bread for those who care. When you’re using Cloudflare for your site, you want this plugin so that comments, statistics, and anything else will get your visitors’ ip numbers. Otherwise it will look like you have one Big Fat Visitor: Cloudflare itself.

I use Cloudflare plugin + W3Totalcache and Cloudflare extension + Worfence security. Before Cloudflare I was using Photon (by Jetpack) + w3totalcache to speed up the load process, but there are problems in load speed not because of my site/server, but because of other 3rd party resources that needed to be downloaded to the client from other servers (ex: gravatar profiles, facebook timeline etc.) the site had a good load time of 1.42sec (judging by the fact that it has 14 posts on homepage and each post has one image). But still, it was not enough! We needed a bigger performance, a higher stability (we have spikes in the evening of even 1k unique live and that impacted a little in load times to almost 2 sec) and, why not a security layer for the client (SSL). Cloudflare solved this problem, and I’m having a render time load of 639ms (YES NOT EVEN A SECOND) – Your website is faster than 95% of all tested websites (pingdome). So, hats off to you Cloudflare team!

This is an excellent plugin. Eliminates the need to login to Cloudflare unnecessarily. I find it too time-wasting to access though. To purge the cache, I have to navigate through Settings > Cloudflare > Purge Cache. I understand this is not a caching plugin in the traditional sense, but it would be a million times better if it came with a “Purge Cloudflare Cache” link in the admin bar thus eliminating the time spend waiting for the page to load just to access the plugin dashboard and click on a single button. Will give five stars when they add this feature. It’s a wonderful plugin nevertheless.

After the update to 3.0, the plugin has been completely unstable. Sites have crashed, numerous other bugs have been reported. There have been 5 updates in the past few weeks in an attempt to fix these issues. Every new update introduces new issues and fails to fix the previous ones. One would think that an official plugin from a large company such as Cloudflare would have competent developers working on the project. But apparently that isn’t the case at all.

I installed this plugin on multiple sites and it stopped all the spam. It works very well and I have it installed on sites with Gravity Forms, Formidable forms as well as Fluent Forms. The developer is very responsive and also assisted in me sorting out an issue on one site (where I had some errant code) Highly recommend it.

The plugin works well! Only, there are some usability issues: The Affiliates Menu item in the Dashboard has too many menu sub-items and they all have rather generic names and it is hard to understand which one controls what settings unless you open each of them. It becomes really painful when you are actually looking for something. Aalso you kind of wonder where to edit the message for Affiliators because The plugin does not explicitly says that there is a page called Affiliate. The page can not be accessed from the plugin settings directly, but should be accessed from Pages Menu and that is not mentioned.

This system contains everything an educated and/or formally trained Support Resources Director or Manager of Technical Support would ever need to do technical support correctly. If you lack such training, no worries. This thing just might save you from yourself when it comes to tracking all the requests that are inevitable with a tech operation. I still use Trello, but now I can focus on using Trello for what it is really supposed to be used for, and allow this plugin to expand my operations into specialized territory that has the potential to re-capture a lot of revenue. This is an amazingly inexpensive system that supports a key paradigm in the problem resolution protocycle: Root Cause Analysis. Beyond that, it can enhance your business AND technical support operations in many ways. It has fantastic documentation, an extremely intuitive setup procedure, and a feature set that makes sense for its intended use case. In the right hands, this plugin can easily transform both the internal operations and client-facing operations of any company. It is extremely well thought out and instantly practical. This is worthy of an award. It is right up there WP-Client for it’s use case (and I’m going to push it and see if I can use it inside WP-Client Hub Pages…but that’s just my own thing to try), and anything delivered by my other favorite company, iThemes. It is stable, fast, and easy to customize. It is feature rich, incredibly flexible, and very easy to style and brand. This is worthy of an award. Kudos to the author for publishing a plugin that increases dramatically the relevance of WordPress to company operations and infrastructure. ADDENDUM (Jan. 2015): I have been working directly with the plug-in author to provide specific customizations for a client that I am implementing this system for to build up his own software development infrastructure. The author is responsive, professional, and extremely interested in making sure I am satisfied with the work. Hello, I have been using WATS for 6 months now and it works really well. At first, we have been submitting tickets through the admin side with the free release. Then, to enhance user experience, we have been upgrading to the premium release in order to be able to take advantage of the frontend submission of tickets. WATS works fine! It is easy to setup and is compatible with latest WP release. I had few questions to customize the look and feel of the system and the developper answered those very quickly. The premium release provides advanced features like the notifications which were quite helpful for me. But I was also really happy with the free release.

I should have paid closer attention to the negative reviews. This plugin does not allow me to test any features via an end user. I can see parts of the functionality but I am left to guess what the actual end user experience will be unless I buy the full version.

Frontend submission form access :Warning : this feature isn’t available in the standard release. Please upgrade to benefit from it! Which means there is no way for a user to submit a ticket themselves. Plugin is certainly not worth any money

Perfect, after years of dealing with client chosen solutions for page builders in WP, this is the one I will be recommending they use in the future. It does everything the WordPress way and uses the same structure as the customiser so you can see your edits live, a bonus is being able to use the same device type previews the customiser uses so you can seamlessly swap between mobile / tablet / desktop view while building your page. Well done guys this is a triumph, look forward to getting my hands dirty and building a few custom extensions. Final words: You will love it ????

I’ve always struggled with how pagebuilders work in WordPress and how they get in the way of the normal editing workflow. Not with Tailor. This integrates pretty nicely with the normal flow, adds very useful building blocks to your TinyMCE editor and still allows you to edit contents in the normal editor. Awesome! As a first release, in my eyes this is already the best page builder out there, can’t wait to see what’s coming next. Left a few suggestion on the support forum. Thank you so much for making this available to the community.

I was able to test the plugin on a blog where I do not really need it yet. I wanted to create a linkable thumbnail catalog on one of my blogs and for some reason it works on all of my blogs BUT the one I need it to work on. The catalog I was able to create worked well and looks nice. I wish there were a better way to handle the categories than how it’s set up. The only way I’ve found so far is to go in through an uploaded image to set categories; there is not separate table that handles just the categories for the images. Also there is no way to set the categories on the upload page either. You can set link, description and even price, but not categories.

Very elegant solution. Much different approach from other plugins. At first I didn’t realize why all my English posts did not show up when I activated the plugin (my default locale is ja). The more I investigated how this plugin works the more I liked. Please keep developing! Especially hoping to see the ability to hook category names and have multiple language category names.

Elementor is a great pagebuilder. It’s very pity that this plugin seems not be compatible with Elementor. The language switcher is a static list version with no extra options. Spocket has it all. I have attempted drop-shipping utilising so many different plug-ins and so many extensions that I was at the verge of giving up (again!). However, I thought “I’ll give spocket a go…” Well today I set up my domain, my hosting and put a SSL certificate onto the website. Then off I went, downloaded wordpress, downloaded woocommerce, downloaded classic (haven’t tried blocks yet), then had a look at what I needed in addition to operate Spocket – answer:nothing.

Great to still have the link manager available. Easiest way to handle external links. Combined with CoCo linksort easy to show widget with desired links.

Used to love, love, love this plug-in….I’m so sad it won’t work with WP 3.8.1 I have a collossal MESS – It has locked me out of deleting certain things on my website, or making changes – even though I deleted. My next step is to go into my hosting panel and look for any trace left over files. I have my links printed in write type over my video on my home page – looks TERRIBLE. Word to the wise – if you are a confident ‘amateur’ – test before you get a mess. Anyone got any ideas? I had put my links in Widgets and I see them in Menu as well. But now I can’t delete them, or go in an move them — HELP!

Used to work, now constant errors on connectes WPs sites on Zapier. Plugin and WP integration have less feature that the old (legacy) Zapier app. Needs to be updated and bug fixed!! This topic was modified 11 months, 1 week ago by Leonardo Gandini.

Agree with other 5 star reviews, it works perfectly. If you’re new to zapier take the time and follow the steps when creating a new zap. For now, if it helps: In WordPress: Install the plugin create a “zapier” user in wordpress In Zapier Create a new Zap with a WordPress step When prompted, enter in the username “zapier” and the password you created in wordpress Profit

We used this to post a message in a channel in Microsoft Teams when a new post was published on WordPress. Works like a charm!
